The Company was first established in 1961 as P T Barclay and Partners Limited providing drawing office services and precision photography primarily to the electronics industry. Many techniques were pioneered and developed by the company throughout the following years and in 1996 the Goodwill and Trading part of the business was sold to The MICE Group plc. and was renamed MICE Technical Graphics Limited to reflect the identity of the new owners.

This stage of the company’s development provided valuable investment funding to broaden the companies existing activities and to take advantage of fresh business expansion ideas.

In June 2007 an opportunity arose for the company to return once again to private ownership and this resulted in a successful MBO led by it’s Managing Director Terry Holding.

Terry says that “Technical Graphics Limited is now concentrating and focusing all it’s efforts on it’s core Computer Aided Design and draughting activities including ‘FastrackCAD’, the construction industries leading CAD database service, all of which has been developed throughout many years of successful and continuous trading".

During the company’s unique long history of continuity it has always maintained its loyal client base, its key staff, its focus and its position as a leading drawing office service company to the Architectural, Electro/mechanical, M&E and Facilities Management market sectors.

Its Associated Company, FastrackCAD Limited, has long been recognised as Europe’s leading provider of Architectural CAD drawing databases with over 30,000 registered users, both in the UK and internationally.
